Clutch Adjustment on a 55 PW

I'm looking for any information out there regarding adjusting my clutch - if possible - to get a stronger pedal. Right now my clutch disengages/engages right before the pedal hits the floor. I'd like to put off a full clutch job until spring if it's possible. Any help is appreciated.
