After two CVA's and CABG, I have to take a stress test every year to maintain my CDL and keep a job. After awhile (7 or 8 years in a row) the medics finally (DUH!) figured out that the reason my heart rate wasn't going up on the treadmill tests was because of the meds I take. All these smart folks were doing was killing me. The chemical test makes you feel funny but the worst part is having to lay completely still for 30+ minutes while X-rays are taken at various angles.
