I am posting this because there is some controversy on this form about the events at our home. I will be as brief as possible to cover all the concerns. First I would like to thank all the members who posted and E mailed all their condolences it meant a great deal to all of us here.
At eighty four Father had several severe illnesses ,he was a insulin dependant diabetic, six ruptured disks, aortic aneurysm, hypertension, arterial blockages .He suffered from such pain in his hands and feet from diabetic neuropathy he did not sleep much.
At his age and because of his health the aneurysm was inoperable, so were the rest of his health problems .Copey himself as did we know, it would be a matter of time before the aneurysm would be fatal.
Pops always said a good warrior deserves a quick death. When his final moments came he was doing what he like best, driving his power wagon, smoking and drinking a hot cup of coffee. His close friend Patrick said it was a painless five minutes for Dad. Copey felt a sharp pain pulled over and left this earth .
As he wished no services were held a quiet meeting at the home farm of the immediate family then his cremation the following day.
Every body has to die, the heart ache is the love you will miss. I hope this clears up any controversy. I will post time to time as now, I have three power wagons that need attention. Once again I thank you for the time Copey enjoyed on this forum and his many friends he shared his stories with. Junior Copey and the family
