Well tomorrow marks the end of my years as a firefighter and paramedic. I started as a volunteer in 1977, started my professional career in 1982, and am retiring on January 1, 2011. Thats 34 years in the best service in the world.
I think I'm driving my wife nuts as I'm wondering around the house today. Im lucky she is understanding and used to living with a work-a-holic like so many of us are. But I've got to believe she is praying for warm weather so she can send me out to work on my flatfender! I figure by next summer it should be looking fantastic!
