Actually, I'm with you on that one. I think turning drums and disks every time is overkill.
The car manufactures will tell you turn them every time shoes/pads are replaced, but I haven't found that to be necessary if the drum/disks are in good shape.
Thanks for the drum specs. This forum is such a great way to get in touch with knowledgeable people.
I had a feeling, after measuring several drums, that the original size was more than 14 inches.
