I went through the ratchet return runaround with sears a couple years ago. I also tried to return a 4 ton floor jack that blew a seal after a year or so. No deal on that one...the jack was made in RED CHINA. Dont know about the ratchet sets, but i suspect they are too or soon will be.
I still have my craftsman set, but WILL NOT go back to sears anymore. When its time for replacement, im going mac or snap-on !
