Deburr the parts, then do NOT wear gloves.
Rollers have a way of grabbing the end of the glove fingers, and pulling the rest of the hand in. Worst I ever did was to lose a thumbnail right through the glove. Could have been a half a hand.
Only times I wear gloves is welding, and harvesting prickly pears for wine. NEVER around machinery.
