Just remembered, the M37 is a 24 volt system. But, first, will the M37 sender physically fit. Then, can the resistance be changed to work with a civilian PW? Maybe, by using parts from an old PW sender.
NOS M37 senders seem to be available for about one fourth the cost of repro PW senders.
