Thanks to all that chimed in on my latest issue with the 1996 disiel F-350.(hard starting even when warm, hicupping on the road, stalling upon start up)....

It appears to be the Cam Sensor(Syncronizer), which can cause a number of poor running symtoms.

Time to get a spare one and keep it in the glove box.
