If you want to build a hotrod truck,may I suggest finding a late or later model Dodge 4x4. A rollover or a one with a lot of rot.Slide the late dodge under Flatfender cab,bed and steel metal.Flatfender body parts are obtainable and fairly priced these days. You'll save an orginal and not kick yourself farther down the road.
Just my two cents,and been there.
