I used to have a glucometer that I got from a diabetic friend who had gotten a newer version. I monitored my fasting blood suger levels for over a year, they were always on the low end of the accepted range, borderline.
I have changed my diet considerably the last few month. I eat mainly fruits, meats, juices, vegetables. I do get thirsty and drink plenty of water, but I though that was a side effect of the medication (Prilosec OTC) I take for Barrett's Esophagus.
I do crave sweets at times, but try to avoid them. Also no alcohol/coffee/tobacco. I have had a chronic cough for close to 2 months. I had a lung x-ray Monday which showed to be clear & started on antibiotics (Doxycycline)then, but the cough is still here & even after missing work Mon-Tues I am worn out.
I am aware of possible pyschological causes too, especially during the winter/holiday season. Just don't know if I might have a chemical imbalance or am just nutty in the head only. Yes I'm a worrier.
