depending on what you have, the only 100% sure way to ensure clean debris free fuel is to have the tank renued. i had it done on my NOS command car tank. fuel stays clean, tank will never rust. do it once. costs a few bucks, but consider the labor to remove and clean the tank periodically + the cost of breakdowns and poor operation due to clogs and blockage.
