I just turned 170k on my 04.5, 6 spd. I've had a first, second and third generation Dodge cummins trucks and my 04.5 has been the best so far. I think the biggest problem with these trucks is the front front end suspension/steering. If you stay away from lift kits, extremely big tires and rebuild the front end sooner than the mtce schedule says to, you can't go wrong.
