Now, it is serious time. My heart goes out to everyone who died in that ruthless attack as well as those who lost their lives in WWII. My Dad (still living w/ dimentia) fought in the South Pacific and was one of the first on Japanese Shores after WWII AND he was on I guess they call it "detail" to free US Soldiers from the Japanese POW camps. When he (my Dad) was in his mid 70's I will never forget that I spoke with him and he started to tell me what it was like to "free" these US Solders from the confines of the POW Camp. They were SO malnourished and so close to death and beyond what he could describe, he was only able to say so little without breaking into tears after all those years.
