I hooked my cowl lights up the same way with the bright filament and coupled them with the turn signals and didn't blow any fuses. I was disapointed in the quality of their repo. the spring clips that hold the lenses are not tempered and straightened out when I tightened the mounting screws and I had to use the original clips. alot more work than plug and play.
