it makes a huge difference as the stock cams are designed for 70 octane fuel. by huge I mean you can maintain 50 plus up long grades whereas with stock you are on the shoulder in 3rd gear. by boring engine alone you raise the compression and if sahve the ehad you get even more pep. to regrind a stock cam and have teh lifters dressed is only a little over 100 bucks and worth every penny in my experience.
