Then had to visit with the neighbor. Helped hi with his initial set u[ of a JD bender. Anchor the pedestal, rtfm and put dies in. Bent about 135° of 2" diameter .120 wall tubing, by manual force. It takes about 20 strokes of the lever to get 90°, moving the rack to s different claw each stroke. But nice job of bending. He wants to build roll cages. I'm thinking a roll cage will have 6-8 bends,so manual labor won't be tooo excessive. Set of dies cost more than the basic machine. He bought 2" and 1 1/4", and owes me some favors...
