The speedo is in the shop at the Wolf company in Ohio.
The technician told me he had never seen a speedo behave like mine. He is going to open it up and try and figure things out.
I don't have a picture of the back of it but there is nothing like you describe as far as the two speed adapter.
So, if I understand you correctly I could use a 1952 2WD or perhaps one from a 1 1/2 ton Dodge truck of similar vintage as long as it did not have the 2 speed adapter on it?
