What weather climate area of the country are you located in? This may help determine what materials are best.
Drypan is a approx 3/16" thick rubber layer that plumbers use to seal shower stalls that will be tile on the walls and ceiling.
There is a special glue to seal overlapping seams.
Fiberglass may also work well.
Torched roofing material.
Rolled Rubber linning.
Pitch is 1/4" per foot.
