You normally can not replace studs that have come out or put studs in tires that have been run on the road. This is because sand and small stones have gotten into the holes. They will stop the studs from seating correctly or the STD wiil drive the small stone into the tire. You really can not clean the stud hole out. This is why studs are not available to the general public.
