Yes it was. It was pretty cool to watch them build the narrows bridge. All the road parts came assembled with the steel and the pavement on barges then they hoisted them up and connected them together. The neat part was they did not start on one end and go in one direction, there was sections just hanging by themselves for awhile, as they skipped around
