I can't imagine a much worse way to go. I spent over an hour in 60 degree water after capsizing in a little 12' fishing boat. Hanging on to the lower half of the motor, trying to paddle the thing to shore, was a pretty scary experience. It felt like a lot longer than it was, with plenty of time to think. By the time someone spotted me and helped me to shore, I had just about figured it was all over.
