Back in the sixties, we drove muscle cars with Hurst shifters. They were dependable and well-made. Recently, my youngest son did a '68 Camaro project. We picked up a new Hurst shifter (about $300). Immediately, we noticed it shifted sloppy and got worse. You guessed it, they're all made in China.
