My Uncle came back from WW2 and erected one for his construction company. He built a 5-foot cement block wall, and then put the hut on top of that. It gave him lots of floor space that would have otherwise been wasted, and also gave him plenty of headroom so that he could drive pretty much any large equipment inside to work on it. He put a big roll up door at each end, and could drive right through.
