My 49 FFPW had hooks on the side of the bed that seemed original. This may be because it was originaly bought by the army according to the build card, The only other thing I noticed about it was that the axles and stuff were painted olive drab. The hooks were not as fancy as the one in the picture. They were just bent rod.
