One of the things I changed on my truck early on was mounting of front sheet metal to allow removal of radiator from front without removing anything but grill and nose. I had to pull it to solder the upper tank and once was enough. I use a B model Mack radiator which is where I got the idea. The early model B model required removing complete front clip as an assembly and was later changed to allow radiator removal from the front.
