I find in working on Power Giants that the fine thread bolts used through out are easier to remove than coarse thread bolts. Is this the case with the Ford? Now not all fine threads come off but they do have a higher percentage of removal without breaking off. I know what you're saying about the newer stuff. I have a 96 F800 single axle dump and the rear brake lines have rusted through on both sides.
