On the farm and abouts we are so guilty of towing extremely heavy loads . When my neighbors get together to cut corn to fill silos I could not estimate the weight of a forage wagon full of moist chopped corn . Or pulling 4 or five grain buggies full of high moistier corn . the other problem is the "push " every bodys is in a rush the guy cutting the corn the guys at the silo with the blower or bagger .Seems my neighbors cant go fast enough and I have see a few wrecks in my time cause of this . The majority from trying to stop in a hurry . Usually because of a traffic situation . Most times its a jack knife then the ditch and over they go . Another bigger problem being seen around these days is the fellows with big pick ups (diesel) and the goose neck trailer . They tend to think they are semis and some of the loads i see are way to much .The kid down the road pulls a smaller excavator behind his truck and if that isnt a accident looking for a place to happen . I stare at it in disbelief ! and shake my head . I figure sometimes good judgment is out weighed by cutting corners and costs if you have some luck left ~ Copey
