I had a '46 Indian Scout in 1963. Paid $20.00 for it and my father was not to pleased when I brought it home. I remember that it had a side shift and an Edison-Splitdorf magneto and the seat was a board with a rug wrapped on held by baling wire. All my friends had Harley 125 Hummers so I was king of the hill with the big (45 cubic inch) Indian.
