You could easily fit an LA base Mopar v6 into a power wagon - since the block is the same as a 318/360 only missing a couple cylinders upfront. But you'd probably have to convert it to EFI with a Computer brain...
Unless someone makes a carb-conversion manifold for them.
But at 3.9ltr's it would be modern brother of the 230.
