Sounds like you dealing with standard 10 stud
Budd wheels. If so, very common on larger trucks. Very unlikely you have a true split rim, Likely a later 2 or 3 piece rim with the split ring. If I remember correctly a true split rim will have a diagonal split at the valve core across with of the rim. I came across four last year on a trailer constructed from a large old truck. First I had seen in quite a few years. The 3 piece is by far the safest.
