Mostly it looks like a well used gear set 1) pull it a part , polish and lap gears 2) missing & chipped teeth can be rewelded and ground in to place 3) the bearings are probably scrap that the icky feel you get . those sets can run for some time before the big bang theory sets in ~ Copey
