Hi Caleb,
They're both very good. I prefer the Fass...others the Airdog but if you look at either...then look at the stock $5 pump...you can't go wrong with either.
I'd eliminate the stock filter completely but if you decide to keep it..I'd run the remote filter before it.
That's my $.02 :)
