the participants of this forum for helping me obtain and keep my power wagon in top running condition ,with out you people i wouldnt have my ffpw . The plow is a IH (Mcormack Deereing)"little genius " 3 bottom 14 inch plow standard plow .Built from 1915 to 1960 ,after the second world war they were mounted on rubber tires. I found the plow in the woods at my neighbors 15 years ago i gave him 20 dollars for it and had to cut a tree that had grown threw it ( i kept the wood )in the deal . The power wagon is stock 1948 no modifications to drive line or engine 5.?? reduction . I set the throttle at 1200 rpm low range/4wd in the transfer case and 1st gear on the box easing up the clutch with the plow set in the soil the engine would drop to 900 for a second then back to 1200 rpm .The oil pressure was a steady 40 and the temp never exceeded 190 . Never spun a tire all morning and was plowing 6 inches deep tires are the Michelin (typical) 9 X 16 with 30 % tread left 50 psi all around . The P W easily pulled that plow .That field is in front of my house its my garden albeit quite large it grows potatoes and sweet corn and a few (250 feet)rows of beans beets broccoli cauliflower turnip carrots onions tomatoes squash cucumbers which we cann ,freeze or store in the root cellar the balance we give to local food banks .Once again I am glad for your interest but I have to say this one more with out you people I wouldnt have my interest thats my power wagon ,and I thank you for your support of my trucks with your help and information ~ Copey
