Electric wiper question...

Having some problems installing electric wipers into Horvath's cab. They are the original Bosch type, and should fit with no problem. But they want to stick out the back past the cover. In order to get them to fit right, it seems I would have to cut some of the area away around the bottom to get them to fit flush to the cab. Then they would go in all the way. Any input?
