Hi,
I am going through the rear brakes on my 1967 W300 CC. After calling a few part stores and looking around on the net. No company sells brake shoes for the application anymore. So, I bought a set of shoes for a mid 70's 1 ton chevy. Everthing the same except for the brake pad thickness. The manual calls for 0.238" which is about 6mm. On the new shoes one pad is 6 mm and the other is about 9 mm thick. I did some measuring and they will fit inside my drums. Do you see a problems with me using these? And what's up with the two different thicknesses?
Thanks
