Do not try to do the entire headliner in one shot. I cut my headliner for the M37 and PG oversize slightly. Then applied indoor/outdoor carpet stickum on one side of the cab roof (fore/aft) using the mirror as the dividing line. I had pre cut 2x4's and pieces of plywood and other scraps to use as props. I applied a generous coating of stickum with a puddy knife and let it sit about 15 minutes.
Then I sort of git under the entire carpet, head in the center and crawled in the cab. I had chalk marked a center line on the carpet.
The carpet was pushed up to contact the roof insulation/stickum and pressed hard with my hand working out all air bubbles. Then like a one arm paper hanger, I started to work in the props. Dont forget to also prop the non glued side. With the props in place, I tapped the 2x4's straight with applied a lot of force. Final check and I quit for the day.
The next morning the stickum was cured and I did the same process on the other side of the cab. A day later, all props were removed and I cut the carpet in place with final stickum in corners and along the edges.
