Are you serious? Did Dianne Feinstein or Barbara Boxer or that guy from NY come up with that idea? After all with a lathe and/or a milling machine one could construct a nuclear device, given the small matter of some highly enriched U235 or Pu239, some high quality (very rapid burn rate) high explosive, amd some klystron detonators. Let's ban machine tools, that way Democratic campaign contributors can sell klystrons and we're SAFE (ah, that magic word for the food and vehicle Nazis, SAFETY).
Did you hear today that Iraq/Saddam Hussein are buying thousands of Play Stations, the hardware inside is good for who knows what, sounds like terrain following guidance systems for long range precision guided missiles.
We can only hope that George Jr. and Colin Powell and Condylezza Rice fix their mistake from '92. Hopefully Saddam will do something really obnoxious.
