Hass - this does not apply to your truck, all you need is a set of lockouts to obtain "freewheeling" status on your 64.
Full time 4wd generally refers to 75-80 trucks. Full time 4wd provided a front or rear axle "limited slip" t-case, and a lock front and rear lock.
I had a 76 chevy, and the t-case went out, it had been converted to part time and had lockouts. Well I bought a full time t-case to put in it, without the "kit". The result,
I had to lock my hubs in to go anywhere.
I sold the truck and it haunted me, I received a notice form the INS about it being used to transfer illegals, still titled to me, the about 6 months later I received a "excessive smoking" notice from TNRCC. Good idea to have the titles notarized when you sell.
