Each issue of Hemmings Motor News has a number of articles on this subject and lists groups and associations who work in the collector's interests. Most of these articles are based on factual information.
I think the originators of the many rumors are working for the anti-collector faction. Rumors say we cannot win and tell us to give up. Be informed and be effective.
