My 1950 B2PW that I have owned since 1963 has also the deluxe options with what I have come to call the "Air Foam " or "Whoopee Cushion" seat that often makes fake farting noises on rough terrain. There is a small data plate mounted low and center on the dash that says "Soft Ride/Hard Ride".Next to it is one of Gordon"s "Drain Bladder" Caution plates that were available a few years back. Most people think it is a joke. I have concluded that the "Air Foam" seat adustment option was perhaps one of the earliest "safety" concessions and innovations made available on the early Power Wagons as an "Anti-Hemorrhoid" device to reduce "Risk" when off road driving. However, I have yet to see this confirmsed in technical manuals.
