and yes I still got my ol' glow in the dark Hanford Atomic Energy Commision PW. Beyond that at my desk at work I started looking around and realized something - I have a lot of hella good, over built, well engineered parts laying around! I have prototype VECs, steering columns, gear boxes, gages, (flex steel "pilot" style seats that are unfornately too large) and all forms of wiring connectors and a automotive engineering contact list that I deal with regularly.... 5 pages long! While I still have to find a garage to leave it at so I can work on it after I leave work and on my weekends. If I start this project would any of you possibily be interested in a web page for me to document this project on? I will highlight all the desired changes
-new brakes
-new engine (318)
-new wiring harness w/ up to date connectors, relays, and fuses/VECs
-power steering (instead of Arm-strong)
-lower diff. gears w/ lsd
-new lighting (IPF light retro fit?)
-PAINT!
-stereo (nothing fancy, just enough to drown out some of the road noise)
-97 gallion fuel tank (61.5" x 15.5" x 26") to replace my 2 current tanks that appear to be nearly 30 gal per(?)
-new suspension springs w/ shocks
-new gage units
-new steering column
