318/ NV4500 conversion

Has anyone put a 318 in a PW with the NV4500 transmission? I have a 318LA in it now but need a transmission. My thoughts are to keep the origanal drive line from the transfer case back including the 5.83's but get the extra speed with the overdrive. I would also be interested in what is needed to mate the transmission to the 318 bellhousing. Thanks.
