All the Chrysler, Gray's that were used in marine apps drove off the front end into the gear box, typically a Paragon box. The flywheel end was facing forward with the flywheel rear side all exposed. In fact I cant remember any marine engine in the old Mahogany that drove off the flywheel end. This actually followed thru to modern times.
