Try manual steering in a w5oo with ruts when the steering wheel hits a deep dry rut and spins against your grip wacking fingers, this is why you see people discount a non power steering assist about $1500 when you go to sell. Lockers were never made period for the rear. there are a few fronts left over from a recent run but you are still installing them on a truck which when loaded has dubious brakes with a booster system thats no longer serviced. all of this points to newer axles out of a 3500 dually, then you get disc brakes all front and back, gear ratios in several ratios, front and rear locking diffs of several types and a switch to Pauls hydra boost type conversion for the brakes and while you are at it rplace the manual steering box with a ported and boosted PSC one and switch it to crossover steering, then you will be done, oh yea, forgot you need a od tranny now toolol Thats why I am going to sell the W500 i have soon as i get it running good, its got a v8 and 5 speed with non stock front winch and a Summit 350 cfm btand new carb with working manual choke. Could not find a new stock one offered anymore with the manual choke. You ought to buy that truck with the wrong cab and fenders just to get the steering box and cylinder off of it and power steering pump, rare and no longer sericed as well so a gamble on if the cylinder rebuilds as most leaked brand new and were not very strong. I had a feed box on my truck and it was ok when empty and at low speed, go fill it up with deer protein and you better watch coming up to a gate at 65lol I redid the brakes completely, wheel cylinders, booster, lines and shoes new master as well!! It be a great truck converted to cummins with matching assessories!!! Good luck.
