Opened the Cummins

I took the gear case cover off the Cummins to check the KDP. The pin was right were it was supposed to be and everything else looked good. I saw some metal shavings in the timing gear case but nothing scary and there was nothing on the magnet in the drain pan.

The gear cover bolt had been lock-tighted in place previously. I installed the tab washer for the KDP and will check the rest of the gear case bolts before buttoning up the front cover and adding new oil. Then I might try to fire it up!
