7.50x16 is the correct tire for the 5.5x16
wheels
the wider 6.5x16 wheels user a larger tire
which will have a greater radius
just put 9.00x16s on the 6.5 wheels fix the
garage door and be happy (unless you live over one of PG&E's high pressure lines)
