I think it called a Rockwell FDS (or FSD) 750. Front Steerable Driven or something to that effect.(rated at 7500lbs) Its looks just like my 66 6 lugger. That's what's called a split case housing. The W500 had them from @ 57 til maybe 74. Post 74 W600 used a different housing. Should be 6.8 ratio gears.

The t-case should be a Rockwell Standard T223, which incidently some guy in PA has some f/s on ebay.
