Wheel size ques

Our '49 FFPW has a mix of wheels. All are 5.5x16, two have a different offset (duals?). It has 4.89 gears and a 318 engine. Would it make sense to change all wheels to 6.5x16, and if so, are tires readily available? The truck is driven 99% on paved streets and never snow.
