off topic but need info

Fleabag here, I know some of you guys have had some dealings with Ford's and have Ford's, question is have any of you guy's ever had a 5.4L that blows out spark plugs? My son bought a 4x4 Ford with the 5.4L Trick-A-Tron engine and he has blown out two spark plugs on the passenger side, have search the net and very common problem, just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried the fix where you get this insert and a long electrode plug?? I don't know if he had stopped for a couple of beers before he went to look for a used truck but the Ford is what he ended up getting Thanks Fleabag!!
